Help fight sex trafficking – Race to Rescue

By Tiffany Deluccia

Jesus said in Luke 4 that He came to set the captives free and to set at liberty those who are oppressed. If freeing the oppressed was close to His heart, we must make it close to ours. The Race to Rescue 5K is a community effort in Greenville, SC to raise awareness of modern-day slavery and support efforts to abolish it and take the love of Jesus to people who have experienced atrocities most of us can’t bear to think of.

All proceeds from the Race to Rescue 5K will be contributed to the A21 Campaign, a 501(c)3 non-profit that exists to abolish injustice in the 21st century through a comprehensive system of preventative measures, victim protection, prosecution of violators, and strategic partnerships.

I’m very excited to be participating in this event (thought I’m not much of a runner!). Please watch this video from The A21 Campaign, and consider signing up to run or walk on March 22!
