Burn to Memory 2 Thessalonians 3:13

2 Thessalonians 3:13

Tomorrow is the first day of October – nutty how quickly this year is going by! The end of the year can  turn into a boiling pot of high-stress ingredients mixed with a lot of things that are supposed to be fun. For me, those currently include holidays, football games, my sister’s wedding, family birthdays, Christmas planning at church, and some fun projects I’ll tell you about soon. For you, it may be other things (e.g. mid-term exams, scheduling next semester’s classes, moving somewhere new, starting a new job, stepping out in faith for something God’s told you to do, etc.).

All I know is that the pressure is on and it can get exhausting. I’m preparing for that now, and I hope this month’s devotions will help to encourage you through the pressure to come!

Burn to Memory is our special section focused on Scripture to memorize. Pin it, print it or make it your smartphone wallpaper. Why is memorizing Scripture so important? What’s in your heart comes out at the moments when it is needed. (And if what’s in there isn’t good, it’ll come out even when you don’t want it to!)
