I find it difficult to feel like a King’s daughter on an average day. Life feels so much more real. I am a twenty-five year-old wife, volunteer, friend, professional. Princess doesn’t happen.
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O Daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you!” Zechariah 9:9
But our King is coming again, and He has adopted us as His own. He has given us eyes to see the truer truth: That this life is only the beginning, and we live incognito that we might save more.
In this world you will have trouble. There’s no promise of happily ever after on earth. So, we’d be better off to stop seeking it.
But we can take heart: He will come again, and His Spirit is with us in the meantime. Remember to whom you belong. You’re the victorious King’s daughter.
