When God seems silent.

By Tiffany Deluccia

Just because God hasn’t answered your question doesn’t mean He’s distant. It’s so easy to listen only for what we want to hear. If you’re agonizing over a problem or a question, and it feels like He won’t answer, stop to worship sincerely.

God promises to inhabit the praises of His people. When you worship with a sincere heart, His presence will always envelope you. And He speaks there. It might not be the answer to the question you asked, but it’s likely to be the answer to the restlessness in your heart.

Thank you for this reminder, Tiffany! I’m fretting over a few things today and it feels that God has forgotten about me! I must remember God’s timing is almost never our timing! And I need to trust Him, trust the process, and thank Him in advance.

    1. Courtney – This was as much a reminder for me today as it was for you! My husband’s little brother has been in the hospital for a few days, and trusting the Lord has been the theme of our lives. His faithfulness is constant.
